The ULTRAGLIDE patio door system is made of aluminum profiles supplied by Aliplast. The doors are available in three thermal variants: the basic UG version, two versions with increased thermal insulation UG i and UG i+ (details below). ULTRAGLIDE is an extremely functional system, because in addition to slide and lift-and-slide windows and patio doors, it also offers 90-degree angle solutions, patio doors with a low threshold, as well as the Monorail variant with at least one fixed glazed element. In the ULTRAGLIDE system, we most often use Gretsch-Unitas fittings, also with the possibility of using automation with a remote control to remotely open and close the door.

Possibility of implementation ULTRAGLIDE
ULTRAGLIDE (UG, UG i, UG i+)
ULTRAGLIDE is an aluminum system of slide and lift-and-slide windows and patio doors used most often in individual and public buildings. In the standard version, ULTRAGLIDE is available in three thermal variants: basic (UG) and with increased thermal insulation: UG i – thermal insulation on the perimeter, at the point of adherence of the pane to the profile, and UG i+ – additional insulation of the space between the thermal breaks.
ULTRAGLIDE enables the construction of large and stable sliding windows and doors with a maximum leaf weight of: 250 kg for the slide option and 400 kg for the lift-and-slide option.
ULTRAGLIDE low threshold
The option of the ULTRAGLIDE aluminum patio doors with a low threshold is a solution that improves the accessibility of buildings for people with disabilities. The lowered door threshold prevents steps at the door-floor joint, effectively flushing the threshold with the floor and leveling architectural obstacles. This solution can only be used with lift-and-slide (HST) structures with a maximum leaf weight of 400 kg. Possible combinations: 2-, 4-element based on a two-track frame.
ULTRAGLIDE Monorail
Monorail is an additional solution of the ULTRAGLIDE system, characterized by the presence of at least one fixed glazed element in the structure. It can be used in both slide and slide-and-lift HST systems. The special frame design allows to increase the opening width for the fixed element. In the ULTRAGLIDE Monorail option, glazing from the outside is possible, which allows the use of large-size, heavy profiles.
ULTRAGLIDE angular solution 90°
The 90 degree angle solution is an option of the ULTRAGLIDE system dedicated to large corner glazing. The system is ideal for both commercial buildings and private houses requiring open spaces. When opening the patio door, you simultaneously move the pillar connecting the leaves, thanks to which the entire corner of the room is open (without a structural pillar that would divide the space).
UG620 aluminum mullion reinforcement
These two aluminum mullion reinforcements improve the structural statics, making it possible to design even double-leaf patio doors with a maximum leaf height of 3,000 mm.
Also thanks to these reinforcements, the structures do not require additional external reinforcement, which positively affects the appearance of the door.
Threshold flush with the floor on the inside
Due to the modified frame design, we were able to set the sash of the terrace door 20 mm deeper into the threshold. As a result, the threshold has been flush with the floor on the inside of the room.
